Alexandra has been interested in performance from an early age performing in school plays and dance concerts, but moved away from the stage when she began training as a roller figure skater. She skated competitively for 9 years, earning in this time two Australian Championship titles and three opportunities to represent the nation in her age group. Nearing the end of her competitive run, Alexandra became more interested in the performance side of skating which opened her up to many exciting experiences such as skating to support Sneaky Sound System at the MTV Australia Video Music Awards and alongside Jimmy Barnes at the Toyota Aurion Corporate Launch. Her local skating club began producing show skates in 2007 and Alexandra performed as various characters in the shows that were put on to support the club and entertain the local community. She returned to her love of the stage in 2008 when she enrolled in the Open Program at NIDA and then went on in 2009 and 2010 to complete both the NIDA Young Actors Studio and Acting to Camera Extended courses. Now, Alexandra sings in the choir and loves to do volunteer work for her local church. Alexandra hopes to expand her horizons and take on new ventures in the future.
